68 days to go
1987–2027
We’re celebrating all through 2027, and we want to fill the site with 40 years of memories. The best way to help is to tell us your story.
40 Years of Mesozoic Mind
Dinosaurs! A Fun-Filled Trip Back in Time! came out in 1987, which means 2027 is its 40th anniversary. Forty years of Fred Savage’s science report, a band of cartoon dinosaurs, and a song that people still can’t get out of their heads.
How you can help us celebrate
Tell us your story
When did you first see Dinosaurs!? In class, from the library, or on your own worn-out tape? When did the song come back to you?
Make something
A cover, a remix, fan art, a claymation of your own… Anything made for the 40th will get a spot on the site.
Were you part of it?
If you worked on the video, played in Charmer, or know someone who did, we’d love to hear from you, just like Ginny and Pat did.
Look back
From a 1980 clay short to a 1987 VHS tape to a fan site that’s been around since 2003.
